Exceptional Bathrooms

It is one of those rooms where you can let go of some of your design inhibitions and pursue something a little more creative or daring then you may be willing to risk in other parts of your home. Because of their (typically) small size, it is also an easy room to renovate in order to give your entire house a face life.
I absolutely LOVE the round bath tub and gold fixtures in this design by David Collins.
This one by Frank Shirley looks so serene. It is a relatively simple design, but it is executed so perfectly. The tile design on the floor is totally eye-catching without being distracting.
I saw this one in a home designed by John Nash. It’s from a terraced mansion in the UK.
A few from Boston designer, Leslie Fine:
This contemporary bathroom is by designer Rebecca Ascher for a Nantucket home. The beautiful round bathtub is made of volcanic limestone and resin by Victoria + Albert.
I could write an entire anthology about Ralph Lauren‘s homes, but here is a glimpse into the bathroom of his Manhattan apartment. I love the white lacquered cabinetry and the view of Central Park reservoir.
…And a few more faves for good measure
