The Bertoia Chair

Specifically, this mesh wire looking chair known as the Bertoia chair. One reason why I love it so much is because it is basically made of air, which gives it a light and unobtrusive quality. It has the ability to add a little bit of modernity or edge to a traditional space or keep a minimalistic design looking very simple. This design has also passed the test of time as the Bertoia chair has been a design staple since the 1950s. These chairs are such a lovely change of pace from heavy leather or wood…especially around the kitchen table or at a counter top.

Bertoia chairs are really cool! Since I haven’t had a chance to sit on one I don’t know how comfortable they are, but I like how they look.
