Annie Brahler’s Modern Vintage

The entire color palette is completely breath-taking. Brahler manages to make antiques look modern and heavy pieces look light. Plus, there is something special about the fact that she placed an ornate crystal chandelier in literally every room!
There are so many things I love about this kitchen…the Delft tiles adorning the fire-place, the zinc finial on the left, the applique on Brahler’s island and even the antlers above her double cabinet in the back right corner.
Until I saw this image, I thought I was the only obsessed with gold mirrors… I have never been bold enough to decorate with quite so many of them, but I kind of love the way this looks!

This is simply stunning. I love the simple mono-chrome palette with the subtle dusky shades of gray, gold and pink. Over-all it’s elegant, yet not ostentatious despite the chandeliers, gold gilding and dramatic period pieces.
Nicest interior I have seen is ages!
What a beautiful, traditional home! Elegant and lovely. I love that first shot – the wood framed furniture is one of my favourites! Thank you for sharing!

Very interesting place, looks elegant and comfortable. Great post, tks!
Very ornate!
I love the living room furniture! I also love that it’s so fancy but still feels very cozy/relaxed at the same time and that’s hard to pull off!
Love love love it! Especially the stairwell with the brassy picture frames!
I now have to thank you! I have so many pieces of furniture similar to photos 1&2 and had no idea what to do with them, they are currently sitting in my basement. The simplicity of the fabric makes the lines of the furniture absolutely stunning.
Love the gray tones in each room! It gives a modern flair to this classically beautiful design.
