Window Treatment

The key to perfectly hung drapes is utilizing the maximum amount of wall space around the window as possible.  I love when the curtain rod just about hits the crown molding. In the picture below, you can easily see how the window on the left looks absolutely miniature next to the one on the right… Well, this illusion is just because of the curtain placement.

This look is so easy to achieve when you have large windows to begin with….

But, surprisingly, it’s also easy to achieve when you have smaller windows.

I never thought about hanging my drapes this high, but I think I will give it a try. And that bedroom.. I LOVE the design of it. Simply beautiful. Great post

  2. i definitely agree with hanging curtains high and wide… but the issue i have is when there isn’t crown molding in a room (like in my bedroom). I feel like it looks a little silly hanging them all the way to the ceiling. What do you think? Thanks for your comment, I look forward to reading your blog!

A really awesome window treatment can transform any room. One of the most important components of your window treatment is the drapery hardware responsible for hanging, displaying or drawing the curtains or fabric. Our guide to drapery hardware, curtain rods and traverse rods will help you choose the right drapery rod for your window treatment.’
