Nursery Inspiration

My weekend plans made me curious about his new nursery and got me thinking about how I may want to design my own child’s nursery one day.
My first thought was Art for Kids, which is a beautiful furniture store I stumbled upon while visiting one of my favorite parts of Los Angeles. I pulled these photos from their website.
This is Mariah Carey’s Nursery Designed by Gail Sedigh of AFK
AFK has a great collection of pictures for children’s rooms.
Restoration Hardware for babies is one of my favorites. I need to own this mirror – I love the architectural elements of it.
Notte Fatata Collection by Savio Firmino = stunning
Serena and Lily never disappoint
From the Spanish Magazine El Mueble
I love these…
As much as I love traditional design, I would REALLY love to have a contemporary nursery. DucDuc is one of my faves
This one is my DREAM nursery
This Nurseryworks design is a modern twist on 15th century British architecture and furniture. I love the playful colors and lacquered finish.
Up, up and away…

I love these unique ceiling designs.
I love coffered ceilings and trimwork detail – so regal and timeless
These patterns are gorg. I love the look of a wallpapered ceiling in a bathroom.
Natural wood is great for a vacation home
…especially when it is in an interior like this. The ceiling in the room of this ski house is amazing, but the entire design is so chic – the wall of windows, the fireplace, the white furnishing – it is my dream ski “cabin.”
A finished wood ceiling is just as special, but can create a more polished look
Beams on a ceiling make the space appear cozy
This orange high-gloss ceiling in designer Jefferey Bilhuber’s Manhattan apartment is definitely eye-catching
The ever-so-chic Olivia Palermo
Posted: August 29, 2011 Filed under: Uncategorized | Tags: fashion, Olivia Palermo 1 Comment »Olivia Palermo – the well-deserved subject of countless fashion blogs around the world. In my eyes, she can do no wrong. I envy how consistently she puts together a chic and simple, yet creative look. Not only is she a knock-outl, but she has the much coveted ability to effortlessly combine peices from Zara or H&M with those from Hermes or Chloe. It takes a true fashionista to successfully pull it off every time.
Here are a few of my favorite looks:
Today is all about Grey

I love the delicate and ethereal quality of these interiors because they look almost as light as air, but still have a substantial quality to them. Plus neutrals keep everything light, fresh and clean. By matching the color of the floor-wall-ceiling, you can make any space look much bigger.
These two images are from a townhouse in Beacon Hill designed by one of my all time favorite local interior design firms – Lewis Interiors.
I also love, love, love this living room.
So pretty!
Hello & Welcome

This is my first experience with blogging, but having majored in journalism as an undergrad, I have always found it easiest to express myself through the written word (although, I must admit, I’m a little rusty.) The point of this blog is to create a forum for all things beautiful, unique and otherwise interesting.
